Lizard Creek is a creek that feeds into the Des Moines River at Fort Dodge, IA.  This spot has about a half mile of small rapids that can be fun to run and learn basic whitewater maneuvers.  There is a couple of small surfable waves as well.  There is a pull off on the road next to the river with a trail down to the river that has been beaten down by pedestrians.
